UNIQUE NEW FUNDRAISING PARTNERSHIP FOR ELITE SPORT AS LOCOG, UK SPORT, BOA AND BPA JOIN FORCES
The raising of private sector funds to support Olympic and Paralympic sport took a major step forward this week with the announcement of a groundbreaking new partnership – Team 2012 - which features all the major organizations involved in supporting British elite sport.

Richard Lewis has been appointed the new Chair of Sport England, effective from 1 April 2009. Lewis, currently Executive Chair of the Rugby Football League, automatically takes a seat on the UK Sport Board as a result.
