UK Sport has welcomed today's publication of Tanni Grey-Thompson's anti-doping review. The review, commissioned by UK Athletics Chief Executive Neils de Vos, has made 22 recommendations covering all aspects of anti-doping policies and education within the sport.
Through 100% ME, UK Sport's anti-doping education programme, potential stars of the future were warned of the dangers of drugs in sport, at the Youth Sport Trust's 2009 National Talent Orientation Camp earlier this month.
Manchester will host the Paralympic World Cup once again, with the 2009 edition scheduled for 20-25 May. UK Sport is continuing its support of the event through investment from its National Lottery funded World Class Events Programme.
