CHEATS HAVE NO PLACE TO HIDE
Athletes who cheat through using prohibited substances or methods will have no place to hide in the UK. That's the message today from Andy Parkinson, the new Acting Director of Drug-Free Sport at UK Sport, and Professor David Cowan, Head of the Drug Control Centre at King's College London.

TAKING THE FIRST STEP FROM PITCH TO PODIUM
The search for hidden talent ahead of London 2012 took another step forward this week as UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport tested the first cohort of applicants for Pitch2Podium.
BAE SYSTEMS HELPS BRITISH SHOOTING TEAM AIM FOR SUCCESS
The British Shooting Team have tested a piece of equipment designed and built by BAE Systems. The technology, which has been developed as part of a £1.5 million partnership with UK Sport, will assist Great Britain's best shooters in training ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and beyond.
LEADING THE GAME IN SOUTH AFRICA
Leading the Game, a new project which aims to use the power of sport as a tool for social development and transformation in rural communities around South Africa, was launched last week. Sports Coaches Outreach (SCORE), a non-governmental organisation, has worked in partnership with International Development through Sport UK (IDS UK), the charitable arm of UK Sport, to deliver The Big Lottery Funded project.
