Applications for the UK Sport Garage Innovators Award 2009 are now invited. The Garage Innovators Award, worth up to £25,000 in research and development funding and now in its second year, is designed to find the best and most innovative solutions to aiding success in Olympic and Paralympic sport.
UK Sport is delighted to announce that the responsibility for the future delivery and development of its Fast-track Practitioner Programme is to be entrusted to the English Institute of Sport.
In committing to the ongoing development of sport science and medical services, the English Institute of Sport (EIS) has responded to UK Sport's athlete survey, which highlighted Skill Acquisition as an area for development within sport science.
