The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has awarded England the 19th World Championships which will be hosted in London, just a year before the 2012 Olympic Games.
More Events Success in Manchester
MORE EVENTS SUCCESS IN MANCHESTER
Manchester will host the LEN European B Championships 2009 Women after successfully holding the men's event in July this year. The event sees international standard water polo return to the city with the support of UK Sport's World Class Events Programme.

HYDE PETERS APPOINTED CEO OF BRITISH TRIATHLON
British Triathlon has announced that Zara Hyde Peters has been appointed as its Chief Executive. She will begin her new role on 1 March 2008.
